“From kindness it is possible to change the world”

Mahatma Gandhi

Written or spoken, words have the power to build or destroy, to bring closer or further away.

It would be interesting to investigate the number of words in each existing language, language and dialect. I am sure it is a considerable figure, of which we know an average percentage. And of all that universe of words, how many do we use with conscience? How many times a day do we think carefully about how we are going to communicate with the other?

The truth is that a word, a gesture and a kind phrase have the power to transform an entire situation. Kindness in human relationships can disarm any offense-laden event, it can rescue a lost client, it can create a friendly bond where there was none, it can make us closer and sweeter parents.

All living beings face daily moments of tension, disagreement and conflict. As well, we all carry within us some load of fear, uncertainty, pain, heaviness, disgust and that is only ours. As is having 3 seconds to choose from that huge closet of words those that offer courtesy. Why? Just because that, in addition to being reflected in the other, is for you. Yes, for you, because it is you who decides and who builds the house you want to live in. What we give comes from within and by being kind you choose a state of serenity and humanity.
