Traditional childhood vs. childhood in front of the cell phone

Infancia tradicional vs. infancia frente al celular
Traditional childhood was characterized by spending more time outdoors, playing with friends, living with family and developing imagination through games, sports, reading and creative activities. These experiences favored communication, physical activity, coexistence and learning through the exploration of the environment.
On the other hand, today’s childhood, in which cell phone use is very common, offers immediate access to information, entertainment and educational tools. However, when the use of the phone is excessive or unsupervised, it can reduce the time spent on physical play, family coexistence and rest, in addition to affecting attention, sleep and social skills.
No technology is good or bad on its own. The most important thing is to find a balance between the responsible use of digital devices and activities that strengthen the physical, emotional and social development of children. Combining screen time with games, sports, reading and coexistence allows you to take advantage of the benefits of technology while enjoying a healthy and active childhood.
