How does climate change affect us indirectly? Part 2

Many of these symptoms are expected to grow or appear in the coming years, or that due to their relationship with other problems they will end up developing.
Cardiopulmonary mortality: the presence of particles and the high concentration of toxic ozone can lead to death.
Worsening of respiratory diseases: those who are most likely, for example, to suffer from asthma, will suffer from this disease in the coming years as a result of poor air quality, among others. Likewise, more allergic diseases will appear due to exposure to aeroallergens.
More transmission of diseases by food and water: the increase in temperatures will also increase water diseases, since the cold inhibits the growth and reproduction of microorganisms. That is why it is an indirect effect. The same will happen with food. For example, the risk of diarrhea is expected to increase by between 8 and 11%, which, in some places and under some circumstances, can be fatal.
Dispersion of diseases: due to the change in temperatures, the mobility of certain bacteria, viruses … will be greater, because they will find more geographical scenarios in which to proliferate. The seasonality of these diseases will also vary.
Transmission of vector diseases: again, due to the warm climate, it is estimated that the number of people infected with malaria in South America will rise from 25 million in 2020 to 50 million in 2080.
