Father’s Day in Mexico is celebrated on the third Sunday of June, so the official date for this 2024 corresponds to June 16. Which is established as a special day where the father figure of each Mexican home will be exalted and recognized.
In general, families gather to share, express their affection and give gifts to the father at the end of the celebration.
Schools usually decorate their classrooms with ornaments that reflect Father’s Day, while encouraging children to prepare gifts for their parents. Some schools still maintain the tradition of festivals to pay tribute to the hundreds of parents of the students.
