PUBERTY is one of the most complex stages to go through in the human being.
Why is it complex?
Because it is at this stage that physical and hormonal changes are adjusted that often confuse those who are still children in the transition to puberty.
What can you do as parents/caregivers to accompany your children in this transition?
INFORM YOURSELF: this will help you empathize with the emotional and physical process of your children.
GIVE SPACE: emotional imbalance generates a distance that needs to be seen and validated. This distancing does not have to be interpreted as a lack of love towards the parents.
INFORM THEM: It is likely that your children will NOT ask you for information about what they are experiencing, however, that does not mean that they do not need it.
