The 2022 Super Bowl already has a date and takes place on Sunday, February 13. For this edition, the Cincinnati Bengals will face the Los Angeles Rams in order to make history. Actions will be played at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. This venue was inaugurated in September 2020, has a capacity for just over 70 thousand spectators and is usually the home of the Los Angeles Rams and Chargers in the NFL.
This is the biggest game in the NFL each year and also has a halftime show that features the biggest stars of the moment in a unique character show. This edition of Super Bowl LVI will go down in history because it will bring together the stars of rap and hip-hop.
For 15 minutes, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blinge and Kendrick Lamar will perform on the halftime stage that will be installed at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, considered the largest and one of the most watched stages around of the world simultaneously. Collectively, the rap eminences have 22 Billboard number one albums and have won a combined 44 Grammy Awards; Eminem is the singer with the most awards to his credit with 15; Kendrick, 13; Mary J. Blige, 9 and Dr.Dre,7. Snoop Dogg has not won any of the 17 times he has been nominated from 1994 to 2016.
Who is in charge of organizing the show? Jay Z is one of the producers in charge of the show through his entertainment company Roc Nation LLC, linked to the NFL and other high-profile events around the world.“On February 13, 2022, at Super Bowl LVI in Inglewood, CA, at the new SoFi Stadium, Dr. Dre, a musical visionary from Compton, Snoop Dogg, a Long Beach icon, and Kendrick Lamar, a young musical pioneer in their own right, also from Compton, will take center field for a once-in-a-lifetime performance,” Jay Z said in a statement.
