The summer holidays have arrived and with it chaos may settle in the home. At this time of year the days are longer, there is more free time and we can get overwhelmed.
Which is why here at MALU we give you 5 things you can do with your family this summer.
1. Crafts:
Paint, pencils, soaps, recycled materials and imagination are some of the ingredients to make these homemade crafts in which this season is the protagonist. Geometric figures and mermaids to give a second life to toilet paper rolls, original goldfish with stones, fans with cardboard plates to beat the heat.
2 Games:
At the table or in the park, games are a great opportunity to socialize with other people. Not being locked up with technological objects is one of the great challenges of these dates. To make it as fun as possible, some activities may involve motor skills exercises or apply mathematics to everyday tasks.
3. Cultural plans:
Visiting a museum, attending a musical or discovering an exhibition are synonymous with recharging your batteries for the coming academic year. Vacations and free time are a great space to do those things that we often put aside throughout the year.
4. Watch movies and series as a family:
This time can be used to start new series, either in search of entertainment, to review languages or learn new things about the world, history or other topics. From children’s series, to others that teach about history or even series about teenagers. The offer of audiovisual resources is very wide and it is an ideal instance of accompaniment with any of the contents.
5. Cooking as a family:
From the beginning, this can be an entertaining scenario. Going to the supermarket as a family, with your siblings, parents, grandparents or other relatives, choosing fruits and vegetables, can be a great start to the day. In addition to promoting a healthy menu, they can have fun in the kitchen.
Adding to this, buying the ingredients and paying can help them understand more closely how the trade process works.
