Food allergies in children and infants are an adverse reaction to exposure to a food. In the case of children, food allergies are triggered by proteins contained in foods such as cow’s milk, wheat, soy, eggs and nuts.
Some of the symptoms are:
- Rashes, hives, itching
palate.
- Swelling or inflammation.
- Digestive disorders such as
nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or cramps. - Tearing, eye redness,
nasal irritation. - Cough or shortness of breath.
